To produce a promotional film that explains the business to professional investors whilst appealing to potential clients. The film needed to show the facilities and services, show the other marinas in the group and promote the marinas as family-friendly.
Dean and Reddyhoff have a very well defined brand with a relaxed vibe that they wanted to come through in the film, whilst maintaining their professionalism and reputation for reliability. We developed a visual narrative of a family enjoying a day at the marina, supported by a relaxed voice over with an element of humour that highlighted key aspects of the business. We worked with graphics designers who took existing 2D graphics and animated them to create a map of the brand’s marina sites, as well as a brand sting. We used sound effects to add an another dimension to the graphics. Avoiding the cliché ‘corporate’ tone, the music was the final piece of the jigsaw designed to elevate the Dean and Reddyhoff brand. The film has been very well received with one competitor stating ‘it’s a game-changer for our industry.’
